I filed a dispute on Monday with CarFax and they said I would hear from them in 24 hours but as of Fri they take not corrected the issue and have not responded to whatsoever of my attempts to contact them.

I would be very very careful with CarFax.ca report, I accept paid $66.63 CAD for a comprehensive report to later find out that there is a big discrepancy gap as far every bit the auto mileage is concerned.

My wife was looking to purchase a used Lexus GX460 from Ferman Motor Cars several years ago. They showed her the Carfax for the vehicle and it said no accidents. She purchased said vehicle. Now she is looking to trade that Lexus in on a new Lexus from Lexus of Clearwater. She wanted to know the value of her trade in. They pulled the Carfax for her trade in and it said it had been in two previous accidents. My wife was quite upset to here this as she had never been in an accident with her car. I went to the Carfax website and made an inquiry / complaint about what had happened. There reply was," if you have a problem with a Carfax, take it up with the automobile dealer". I replied back, then who made the mistake, carfax or the dealer or are yous both in cahoots and screwing the public? I never heard dorsum from them. It would seems carfax is on par with the liberal fact checkers waiting to decry anything negative you say about the current administration or the corona vaccine. They volition label you every bit giving "misinformation" and get you suspended from social media. I'm debating on whether to hire an attorney and sue the pants of carfax and the dealer for "misinformation". Carfax is a scam.

Despite the CarFax study showing "Minor cosmetic damage" to the 2015 Hyundai Veloster I was researching, the damage was actually much more than extensive. I recently tried carfax. Was ripped off. I merely wanted 1 study. I had three options. First one said ane study 39.99. Second said three reports 59.99. Third said vi reports 99.99. I clicked the ane report for 39.99. I was charged 99.99 and didn't even become the one report. I have constantly tried to reach out to them for a refund with no response back. Ripped off 😡
